She Thinks I Make Lemonade

Erin at From Son Up to Son Down has given me my first Blog Award ever!

The purpose of this award is to give it to someone who is showing gratitude or a good attitude "if life hands you lemons, made lemonade" within their life or blog: put the logo on your blog, nominate at least 10 blogs that show great attitude and/or gratitude, link to your nominees, let them know they have received the award by commenting on their blog, and share the love and link to the person from whom you received your award.

And now I have mixed feelings, because I know I gripe a lot. OK, to be honest, in between the kvetching about Josh is the occasional cry for help when my depression rears it's ugly head, which has been more and more often lately.

But hey, I guess it's time to make some lemonade. Raspberry flavored of course! (for those of you who have not eaten with me, I almost ALWAYS get raspberry iced tea, raspberry lemonade, raspberry margaritas ... I LOVE raspberry!)

Wow! Seriously? Thanks! I'll nominate mine when I'm conscious (for some value of "conscious") tomorrow. Thank you again; this is just the kind of encouragement I need. Nice when the universe is accommodating. :)

You are so sweet! Thanks! You know, I used to joke that my nickname was Sugar b/c I could turn lemons into lemonade. Then I just got tired of laughing about it... now I'm feeling ready for the lemonade reference again. Thanks, friend. This is going to be a great year.

Wow! I am so honored to be on this list. Isn't it amazing the friendships we have formed in only a few months on twitter. I have been humbled too see the good that has come from this technology and the blessing it has been in my life.

@kitrona, yes seriously. You make me look like a big wimp, and yet you persist day after day. I'm so glad to have "met" you.

@sugar you can always pick a flavor :) I know it does get tiring/frustrating always trying to see the bright side, but some personalities (like yours!) just can't help it.

Jyl, Carissa, Cheryl, and Mariah you gals are some of the best reasons why I haven't deleted my twitter account
